Hole 2 at Shadowridge Golf Club is a challenging par 4 with a slight dogleg left. From the championship tees, this hole measures 390 yards and has a handicap of 7. The fairway is approximately 38 yards wide, providing some room for error off the tee.

To start your round on Hole 2, it's important to note that Vista, California experiences mild weather throughout the year. However, during the summer months (June-August), temperatures can reach up to high-80s and low-90s which may impact ball flight conditions due to increased air density.

For your tee shot on this hole, I recommend using your driver as it will give you the best chance of reaching the green in regulation. With an average distance of around 217 yards off the tee, you should aim for accuracy rather than distance on this slightly curving hole. Keep in mind that there are three bunkers strategically placed along the fairway and one greenside bunker as a small percentage of total bunkers on this hole.
