Treat East Lake as a course of angles and sections, not a list of generic lay-up numbers. Andrew Green described using moved greens and recovered width to make the course turn and create varied lines; the restored bunkers often sit inside those preferred lines, while fairway rolls and short grass can move a good-looking shot away from its target. Use the shared aerial for the day's tee and mapped hazard edges, then use the contour panel to choose the correct green section. Tournament commentary is useful context, but temporary par and tee changes do not replace the club's permanent scorecard.
