A long par 3 whose unusually deep green can change the effective shot substantially from front to back. Choose the target section first, then solve the full carry rather than playing only the number on the card.
The restored bunker pattern frames a narrow-looking entrance, but fairway along the right side provides a recovery option. Favor the broadest route into the day's green section.
When the tee shot misses, use the right-side short grass when available instead of forcing a high, short-sided recovery across the putting surface.
Depth and varied hole locations are the defining features. A shot on the wrong tier can leave more work than a slightly longer putt from the correct section.
