Hole 5 gameplan
A restored dogleg left whose inside bunker marks the bold tee line. The green sits back and left and breaks in multiple directions, rewarding a drive that earns a clear angle rather than merely maximum distance.
Challenge only as much of the inside bunker as the selected tee and normal dispersion allow. The outside line is longer but can preserve the full width of the fairway.
Approach from the side that opens the back-left target and avoids carrying the deepest part of the greenside sand. A center target is sound when the tee shot finishes outside the preferred angle.
The surface uses the natural slope and can break in multiple directions, including away from the back-left. Match the approach to the day's section rather than chasing a tucked edge.
