Hole 4 at Onion Creek Club is a 380-yard, par 4 from the championship tees that plays slightly left. The Pro tee box reduces the distance to 361 yards and makes it a bit easier for those with less experience or clubhead speed. Off the tee, you'll need to carry your drive about 250 yards in order to clear the water hazard on the left side of this slight dogleg left hole. With 35 yards of fairway width, there's plenty of room for error here but stay right and avoid any potential trouble off the tee.
The green is guarded by three greenside bunkers as a percentage of total bunker count; two on either side and one near center back. The 6694 sq ft green has some undulation so be sure to factor in wind conditions when choosing your approach shot club selection - especially during summer months when temperatures can reach into triple digits! In addition, due to its altitude (950ft), you may see more roll out than usual which could affect how much you're able to land short and spin onto the green if desired. A 7 iron should get you close enough most days while experienced players may want consider using their pitching wedge on calmer days with little wind resistance in order to make birdie attempts more realistic.
