Players must navigate around a deadly center fairway bunker to set up the ideal angle for their approach to the elevated green, making course management paramount on this demanding par 4.
Off the tee
Your tee shot strategy centers on carrying the valley while positioning yourself on the correct side of the deadly center fairway bunker. The target line should favor the right side of the fairway, giving you the best angle to approach the elevated green. Most players will need driver or strong 3-wood to clear the valley comfortably, but accuracy is equally important as distance. The key is committing to your club selection - a tentative swing often leads to finding the valley or the bunker.
