The plan for No. 4
The large left native area tempts a shortcut on this White-card 408-yard hole. A center-fairway finish leaves the downhill approach without requiring that corner-cutting carry.
Off the tee
From the White tee, the large left native area extends from about 55 to 230 yards. Choose the center fairway around 225 yards, leaving about 145 to the green center. That grass route avoids cutting across the native corner. Allow for the downhill landing slope when choosing the club.
Approach & recovery
The center-fairway target leaves about 145 yards to the green center. The left greenside bunker lies at about 340–355 yards from White. Use the opening to its right, allowing for the downhill shot and the space beyond the landing point.
On the green
The green tilts toward the approach. From the downhill second-shot position, leave room inside the front edge instead of chasing the flag’s exact distance. Keep the left greenside bunker outside the intended landing section.
