Off the tee

Choose a finish with room from the lake and the sandy edge. The hole continues beyond the drive, so there is little value in using the entire water-side margin.

Approach & recovery

Approach from a stable fairway lie and allow for the sand near the green. If the drive finds an awkward edge, recover to grass before forcing the full distance.

On the green

Treat the putting surface as a separate target from the fairway beside the lake. A central landing point removes a difficult side recovery.
