The plan for No. 2

The second offers less length than the opening hole from the printed tees, but the bunker placement makes position count. Pick the part of the landing area you intend to reach rather than treating the shorter yardage as an invitation to swing harder.

Off the tee

A long bunker group borders the left side, while a separate bunker reaches into the right side farther back toward the tee. Choose a finish with room from the relevant hazard, and account for rollout if trying to pass the first restriction.

Approach & recovery

Bunkers flank a green with a narrower entrance and a wider rear portion. A shot from the central fairway has a more straightforward opening; from an awkward angle, use the green’s interior instead of chasing a flag tucked above the sand.

On the green

The contour preview divides the front and rear areas with a noticeable slope band, with another change toward the back-right. Landing on the appropriate section matters more than being pin-high on the opposite side of that transition.
