Research notes
- A narrow, undulating green on a point, with water and sand to the left and closely mown hollows to the right and long. (Hole 18)[1]
- One of the few tour par 5s that plays over par, especially into a north-west wind. The fairway is nearly 80 yards wide with a small bunker in the middle: left of it is the risky route that can reach in two, right of it is safer and leaves a third to the green. (Hole 18)[2]
- The fairways are among the widest on tour but missing them is heavily punished, and the very large greens mean more long lag putts than usual when the wind blows. (Keys to performing well)[2]
