The plan for No. 7

White-tee plan: The long right bunker frames this 323-yard position hole. Avoiding it is only half the drive: a finish in the left trees can close the approach.

Off the tee

From the White tee, the right fairway bunker runs from about 120 to 195 yards. Choose the grass corridor to its left around 185 yards, leaving about 130 to the green center. Keep the left trees outside the landing pattern as well; crossing the fairway to escape the bunker loses the approach.

Approach & recovery

Use the approach opening left by your fairway finish. If the left trees block it, move the ball back into a clear line rather than forcing a shot through them. From the right bunker, choose a recovery that clears the lip and restores access to the green.

On the green

The front-left bunker and drop beyond the back compress the useful landing depth. Favor the interior, allowing for the left-to-right tilt. Reaching the green’s back edge is a poor substitute for clearing the front safely.
