Hole 11 at Bandon Dunes Resort's Pacific Dunes Course is a 148 yard par 3 from the championship tees and a 96 yard par 3 from the women's tees. The hole has no bunkers or water hazards, making it an ideal opportunity to hit your target with accuracy. The green area of 9212 sq ft provides plenty of room for landing your approach shot, but you'll still need to be precise as this is one of the more difficult holes on the course in terms of handicap.

The altitude and climate here can vary greatly depending on season; during summer months temperatures can reach up into the 80s with low humidity while winter brings cooler temperatures along with frequent wind gusts that may affect ball flight conditions significantly. In springtime you may experience some rain which could also impact playability. No matter what time of year it is, make sure to factor in potential weather conditions when planning out your strategy for Hole 11.

Given an average driver distance of 217 yards, a 7 iron 140 yards and pitching wedge 120 yards, players should plan their tee shot accordingly; if playing from the championship tees aim closer to 140-150 yards off the tee before attempting any type of approach shot onto the green. From there use either a 7 iron or pitching wedge depending on how much control you feel comfortable having over spin rate and ball trajectory – both are viable options given proper club selection!

Club Recommendations

For players playing from the women's tees, aim for a tee shot of around 90-100 yards. From there use either a pitching wedge or 9 iron depending on how much control you feel comfortable having over spin rate and ball trajectory – both are viable options given proper club selection!

No matter what club you choose to play, make sure to focus on accuracy as this is one of the more difficult holes in terms of handicap; if your approach shot lands short it may roll off the green into trouble while shots that land long will be difficult to get up and down. Aiming for targets within 20 feet of the hole should provide good scoring opportunities. Finally, keep an eye out for any wind gusts that can affect ball flight conditions significantly - they can drastically change your strategy so pay close attention throughout your round!
