Hole 6 at Bandon Trails Course is a challenging par 4, with a distance of 395 yards from the championship tees. The hole has a handicap of 9, making it one of the more difficult holes on the course.

The tee shot on this hole requires accuracy and strategy. With a slight dogleg right, golfers will need to aim their drive towards the left side of the fairway in order to avoid being blocked by trees on their approach shot. The fairway width is generous at approximately 65 yards, but any shots that stray too far off target may find themselves in trouble.

For an average golfer hitting driver ~217 yards off the tee, they should aim for around ~200-220 yards depending on wind conditions. This will leave them with an approach shot between ~175-195 yards to reach the green.

Speaking of which, Hole 6's green measures at an impressive 19131 sq ft and features five bunkers scattered throughout its perimeter. However, only three percent are greenside bunkers as a % of total - meaning that most shots that land near or beyond these hazards should still have ample room to safely reach the putting surface.

When approaching this large green complex from afar (between ~150-180+ yards), I would recommend using either your trusty seven iron (~140 yard club) or pitching wedge (~120 yard club) depending on how much roll-out you're anticipating upon landing onto each day's specific pin location(s).

As for general weather conditions across all four seasons here in beautiful Bandon-by-the-sea: expect slightly lower ball flights due to sea level elevation combined with cool ocean air temperatures during Spring & Summer months; while Fall & Winter time play may see some added carry thanks to warmer inland temps helping players' balls fly farther through thinner coastal air densities especially when winds pick up (which can be quite often out here).

Club Recommendations

1. Aim for the left side of the fairway off the tee to avoid being blocked by trees on your approach shot.

2. Take into account wind conditions and aim for a distance between ~200-220 yards with your driver.

3. Use a seven iron or pitching wedge when approaching from afar (~150-180+ yards) to ensure enough roll-out onto the large green complex.

4. Be aware of potential added carry during Fall & Winter play due to warmer inland temperatures and thinner coastal air densities, especially when winds pick up.

5. Keep in mind that most shots landing near or beyond bunkers should still have ample room to reach the putting surface safely.

6. Due to slightly lower ball flights, adjust club selection accordingly during Spring & Summer months at this sea level course.

7. Stay focused and maintain accuracy throughout this challenging par 4 hole with a handicap of 9 - one of Bandon Trails' more difficult holes on the course.
