Hole 18 at Torrey Pines Golf Club's South Course is a par 5, 570 yards from the championship tees with a handicap of 10. This hole has a slight dogleg right and requires careful placement off the tee to position yourself for an ideal approach shot. The fairway width is 34 yards so accuracy in your tee shot will be key here. There are 6 bunkers on this hole, 4% of which are greenside, so you'll want to avoid these if possible.

In warmer weather months like summer and fall, temperatures can get quite high in La Jolla and winds tend to pick up during afternoon rounds; both of these conditions may affect ball flight distances and carry potentials when hitting off the tee or into the green.
