The Korn Ferry Tour Championship is the season-ending event of the PGA Tour's developmental circuit and dates to 1993, when David Duval won the inaugural edition at Pumpkin Ridge; it has carried the tour's successive names over the years (Nike/Buy.com/Nationwide/Web.com/Korn Ferry). Jonathan Byrd holds the tournament scoring record with a 260 (-24) shot in 2017 at Atlantic Beach Country Club. The event was staged at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Indiana from 2019 through 2023, then at the Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort in 2024 and 2025, before relocating to The Federal Club near Richmond, Virginia beginning with the 2026 edition under a four-year agreement.
