The Joburg Open was founded in 2007 and is co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the Sunshine Tour, played in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was staged at the Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club through 2017, moved to Randpark Golf Club for the 2020 and 2021 editions, and has been hosted at Houghton Golf Club since November 2022. Richard Sterne holds the tournament scoring record of 260 (27-under) set in 2013, and Charl Schwartzel and Dan Bradbury are among the multiple-time champions.
