Hole 4 at Cypress Point Club is a par 4, measuring 384 yards from the Pro tees, 366 yards from the Men's and Women's tees. It has a slight dogleg right with an approximate fairway width of 36 yards. The green area measures 6878 sq ft and there are 7 bunkers in total, four percent of which are greenside.

This hole can be tricky due to its length and slight dogleg right shape. For most golfers playing from the Pro or Men’s tee box, this will require two well-struck shots to reach the green in regulation. From the Women’s tee box it should be possible for some players to reach the green in two if they hit their driver well enough down the left side of the fairway so as not to get blocked out by trees on their approach shot into this slightly elevated green. The weather conditions here can vary greatly across all four seasons – during summer months warmer temperatures tend to make ball flight longer while winter months bring cooler temperatures that reduce distance off of each club face; wind also plays a role here as gusty winds could cause balls to drift offline if not properly accounted for when aiming your shots off of both tee boxes and into this sloping green complex surrounded by bunkers on three sides (front-right & back). Given these factors, consider using a 3 wood or hybrid off either tee box instead of driver depending on how you feel about your ability with those clubs versus driver – doing so may help increase accuracy off either tee box more than sacrificing yardage would cost you over two shots throughout your round here at Cypress Point Club Hole #4!
