Hole 6 at TPC Scottsdale's Stadium Course is a 4-par, 436 yard challenge from the Championship tees. It plays as a slight dogleg left with 37 yards of fairway and four bunkers along the way. The green has 10195 square feet of area and 3% greenside bunkers to contend with. For golfers playing from the Pro tees, it is 365 yards long; for Men's players it is 348 yards; and Women's players will be facing 322 yards.
The altitude in Scottsdale can affect ball flight significantly due to its effect on air density, so depending on the season you could see anywhere between 5%-15% less carry distance than usual. In summer months when temperatures are high, wind speeds tend to increase which also affects ball flight directionally and distances traveled. During springtime there tends to be more consistent weather conditions but beware of occasional gusts that may occur throughout the day as well as higher altitudes compared to other seasons here in Arizona (5200ft).
For this hole I would recommend using driver off the tee followed by a 7 iron or pitching wedge approach shot into the green depending on where you land your drive off the tee box. Be sure not to get too aggressive with your drive in order to avoid any hazards that might come into play!

Club Recommendations
When teeing off, aim slightly to the left side of the fairway in order to avoid any bunkers that may be on the right. This will also give you a better angle into the green and help set up your approach shot.
If you find yourself in one of the four bunkers along this hole, don't panic! Take a deep breath and remember that these are relatively shallow bunkers with little or no lip so it should not be too difficult to get out. Use an open-faced club like a sand wedge and take two practice swings before making contact with your ball. Make sure you hit behind it as opposed to hitting down on top of it which can lead to chunked shots or skulled shots over the green.
Once you're on the green, pay close attention to how much break there is from where your ball lies compared to where you want it go because this hole has 3% greenside bunkers surrounding its 10195 square feet area. Also keep an eye out for pin placements when putting as they tend to change regularly here at TPC Scottsdale's Stadium Course due its multiple tiers throughout each section of putting surface!
